Well, we are finishing up 2016 and it is time for everyone to start rolling out their New Year’s resolutions to make themselves better. It is a good time to set in stone something that you want to focus on in 2017, but why not do that for your business also?

Aside for normal business goals:

• Increase profit
• Expand to new territory
• Hire more staff
• Bring on more clients & customers
• Advertise more
• etc…

*** These are all great goals, but without a plan of action to accomplish any of these you are really just hoping that it happens rather than making it happen.

So here is a suggestion:

Along with setting goals for this new year, also set some resolutions of things you would like to change in your company. These resolutions should be things that will directly affect your company in a positive way and will help you obtain your goals.

Examples:

• Continued training for your employees
• Better follow up with clients and customers
• Find better tools and process to increase efficiency
• Create more structure in the workplace for things to run smoother
• Be available for your staff when then need help
• Be open to new ideas to increase new business
• etc…

They are just a few to give you an idea of some things that could help your business grow.  All businesses face different challenges everyday, but that should just be more motivation to look for ways to always be better.
